Derby Track Session – Youth Omnium Training

Our next track session at Derby is  Friday 16 February. 8pm to 10pm.

The main focus for this event and the following one will be to help our Youth A, B & C riders prepare for the Youth Omnium events which start at Derby on April 14.

On Saturday I rode the course and it was very dry and fast like how I expected because it’s on a show ground with a great drainage system. This course is very different to all the others. It is never muddy and is similar to a crit race on the road. It has long fast tarmac straights and all the corners can mostly be taken at full speed.
