Coaching
Lichfield CCC offer a variety of coached sessions run by British Cycling accredited club coaches. All our coaching sessions are free to club members.
Most coached sessions take part at the Curborough Sprint Circuit (WS13 8EJ) which is a safe closed race track at 1.4km long and fully visible from the start/finish line so fantastic for spectating.
No specific bike or equipment is needed to start with, all are welcome to give cycling a try whether you have a race bike or mountain bike, bring it along and see what we have to offer.
Youth Coaching Objectives
- To develop children with core bike skills with an emphasis on learning to train and enjoy riding.
- Encouraging riders to be confident enough to race.
- Developing social and personal skills between peer groups and adult coaching staff which can be used in broader life situations.
