The four Lawford Youth Series races in 2026 will run as a league with a trophy for the overall winner at the end.
The League scoring Each of the leaders in the 10 races each morning – 5 age categories and boys and girls – will get points. If more than 10 riders this will be 10, 9, 8 etc for the first 10 places. If less than 10 riders the first rider will get points equal to the number of riders in the category and the second placed one less. EG – seven riders in the category – first get 7 points, second 6 points, third 5 points etc.
These points will be aggregated over the four mornings and the trophy will be awarded to the rider with the highest total. This should make it as possible for it to be won by a rider from any age category. In 2024 it was won by the U 10 rider Leonardo Page from Newport Shropshire.
Dates for the races 21 March, 11 April, 16 May, and 4 July
